Stamping die is a special processing equipment used to process materials (metal or non-metal) into parts (or semi-finished products) in cold stamping processing, called cold stamping die (usually called cold stamping die). Stamping is a pressure processing method that uses a mold installed on a press to apply pressure to a material at room temperature to cause separation or plastic deformation to obtain the desired part. The materials used to make the stamping die include steel, cemented carbide, steel-bonded cemented carbide, zinc-based alloy, low melting point alloy, aluminum bronze, polymer materials, etc. The mold industry is developing rapidly at a rate of about 15%, and all components of the mold industry enterprises have also undergone tremendous changes. In addition to state-owned professional mold factories, collective, joint venture, sole proprietorship and private companies are also developing rapidly.
Stamping dies are classified according to the nature of the process:
One kind. A die that separates materials along a closed or open contour. Such as blanking die, punching die, cutting die, slitting die, trimming die, cutting die, etc.
b. Bending mold A mold used to bend and deform a blank or other blanks along a straight line (bending line) to obtain a workpiece with a certain angle and shape.
C. The drawing die is a die used to make the blank of the sheet into an open hollow part or to further change the shape and size of the hollow part.
d. The forming mold is a mold that directly replicates the blank or semi-finished product according to the shape of the convex mold and the concave mold, and the material itself only produces local plastic deformation. Such as bulging mold, necking mold, flaring mold, undulating mold, flanging mold, forming mold, etc.
e. The riveting mold uses external force to connect or overlap the participating parts in a certain order and manner to form a whole
The role of the structural parts of the stamping die:
One is structural parts. This type of part does not directly participate in the completion of the process, nor does it directly contact the blank. As shown in Table 1.1.3, it can only guarantee the completion of the mold process or improve the function of the mold, including guide parts and fastening parts, standard parts and other parts. It should be pointed out that not all dies need to have the above six parts, especially single-process dies, but the working part and the necessary fixed part are indispensable.
